McNaire

Cookie Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how McNaire Underwriters, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on mcnaire.com (the “Site”), and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We publish this policy so that our disclosures remain accurate whether or not a given technology is active on the Site at any particular time.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include pixels, web beacons, local storage, and software development kits, which perform comparable functions. In this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies.”

Categories of cookies

Where cookies are used on the Site, they generally fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function, such as maintaining a session, enabling navigation, load balancing, and protecting against fraudulent or malicious activity. These cannot be switched off through our Site.
  • Functional. Remember choices you make, such as your region or previously submitted details, in order to provide a more consistent experience.
  • Performance and analytics. Help us understand how visitors find and use the Site, which pages are most visited, and where errors occur, so that we can improve it. This information is generally aggregated.
  • Advertising and targeting. May be used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and, in some cases, to deliver content or advertising relevant to your interests across sites.

Not every category is necessarily in use on the Site at any given time. Some cookies are placed by us and some are placed by third parties acting on our behalf.

Third party cookies

Third parties whose tools we use, such as analytics providers, embedded media, mapping services, and form or security services, may set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies, and their use is governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the parties that set them.

How to control cookies

Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Instructions are usually found in the browser’s help or privacy menu. You can generally choose to be notified before a cookie is placed, to block third party cookies, or to clear cookies when you close the browser.

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop working correctly.

You may also be able to opt out of analytics or interest based advertising through tools offered by the relevant providers and by industry groups such as the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, and the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Where required by applicable state law, we honor recognized opt out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser that sends the signal.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
